Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. The candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to address hardware test needs and build scalable test architectures.

Ideal applicants have hands-on RF measurements experience, lab instrument proficiency, and strong communication skills to present results to stakeholders. This is a full-time role based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years with a bachelor’s or 4+ years with a master’s in RF test systems.
• Proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM) and metrology.
• Experience with test architecture design, scripting, and test executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test teams to develop RF test requirements.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Design and implement test plans and procedures.
• Log and present results to key stakeholders.
• Lab/equipment management and input on purchase decisions.
• Present design review materials to customers and executive team.
