Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Senior Production Technician to build, test, and deliver RF-based electronic systems for defense contracts. The role involves hands-on assembly, integration, testing, and documentation in a manufacturing setting in Northern Virginia, with occasional travel as needed.

You will coordinate with production, QA, and logistics, perform acceptance tests, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience; or 12+ years without a degree.
• Experience with RF emissions and ground systems.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Ability to work well in a team-based setting.
• Ability to read and interpret test procedures and technical documents.
• Must be physically able to lift, rack, and stack equipment safely.
• Strong time-management skills under tight deadlines.
• Proficient communication skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production, logistics, and facility managers on material availability and schedules.
• Aid in production planning for multiple system designs.
• Build and integrate electronic equipment and conduct acceptance tests.
• Complete checklists and test procedures with QA coordination.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with engineering support.
• Document production data and maintain records; prepare test reports for delivery.
• Log hardware/software configurations; monitor test equipment calibrations.
• Assist in teardown, packing, and shipping of systems.
