Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer I to support development of RF products, payloads, and TT&C subsystems. The role focuses on RF engineering, system design, and hands-on testing in a fast-paced environment.

You will define requirements, perform design trades, and contribute to test plans, product documentation, and production automation. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant RF experience.
• RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Solid understanding of RF communications and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain requirements specifications.
• Conduct payload design trades in support of new business proposals.
• Drive the development process, making key design decisions and trades.
• Complete analyses in support of design needs.
• Support the development of test plans and procedures.
• Support the design and development of GSE and production automation.
• Develop product documentation including ICDs and User Manuals.
