Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer II to support RF product development, payload TT&C subsystems, and hands-on payload testing. You will combine RF engineering, system design, and testing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong RF background, end-to-end system delivery, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by program rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with emphasis on RF.
• Strong RF knowledge including link budget analysis and practical systems.
• Experience delivering space-worthy RF systems and ground station components.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain requirements specifications for RF payloads.
• Perform payload design trades and support new proposals.
• Drive development processes and key design decisions.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and GSE/production automation support.
• Create product documentation including ICDs and user manuals.
• Provide technical support to internal/external customers and troubleshoot anomalies.
