Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced RF avionics engineer to design, develop, and verify high-performance RF systems for the New Glenn program. You will work with a multidisciplinary RF team to drive requirements, modeling, analysis, and production release.

You will contribute across the design lifecycle from pre-launch testing to orbital operations, ensuring reliability, documentation, and readiness for flight. A strong emphasis on EMI/EMC and telemetry integration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in design, development, integration, test, and operation of complex electronics.
• Experience with telemetry data acquisition systems design and optimization for high-reliability aerospace applications.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, Altium, and python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, verify high-performance RF systems for the New Glenn vehicle.
• Collaborate with RF team and technical leads to drive requirements, modeling, analysis, and production release.
• Follow avionics designs through formal verification, environmental qualification, and flight support activities.
