Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in El Segundo, CA seeks a Lead Hardware Subsystems Engineer to drive complex electrical system development for satellite and avionics platforms.

You will lead cross-functional teams to document requirements, translate them into architectures, oversee design, testing, and supplier integration across the full product lifecycle. This onsite role requires 1st shift and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical, or related fields.
• Experience in RF/Digital engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in RF/Microwave engineering (preferred).
• Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Oversees the design and build of multiple satellite and avionics units.
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
