Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an RF Engineer to join the team in El Segundo, California. The role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering state-of-the-art RF systems for space-based applications, working with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet mission objectives.

The position emphasizes hands-on RF testing, antenna and passive microwave design, and collaboration across engineering disciplines to support satellite programs from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Physics or related STEM field.
• 2+ years of related RF experience (Level 2).
• Hands-on RF test and development experience.
• Knowledge of passive microwave devices (filters, switches, circulators).
• Experience with HFSS, CST, MATLAB, Python and/or LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, integrate, and review antenna and passive microwave designs.
• Perform trade studies, modeling, and analysis to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, managers, and suppliers to meet requirements.
• Define and conduct tests to validate RF performance and specify test hardware.
• Develop complex test plans with resources, schedules and costs.
• Support lifecycle issues with root-cause analysis and engineering support.
