Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior RF Spectrum Policy Analyst/Engineer to support the CAD/CMD spectrum initiatives in on-site roles across Chantilly, VA, El Segundo, CA, and Colorado Springs, CO. You will evaluate policy actions and develop coordinated spectrum strategies for DoD and civil clients.

Responsibilities include advocating policy positions, performing technical analyses, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with DoD, IC, and civil agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience; TS/SCI eligibility may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate national and international spectrum policy activities (ITU, White House, Congress, FCC, NTIA) and assess impacts to customers.
• Support development and implementation of spectrum plans, strategies, and policies for customer organizations.
• Advocate policy positions to protect the customer’s use of spectrum.
• Provide technical analysis to support spectrum reallocation studies.
• Coordinate with program offices, federal spectrum agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers in spectrum management and engineering.
