Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior RF Spectrum Policy Analyst/Engineer to support spectrum policy for government customers. This on-site role requires TS/SCI eligibility and enhances DoD, IC, and civil agency missions from Chantilly, VA; El Segundo, CA; or Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities include evaluating ITU/NTIA/FCC actions, developing spectrum strategies, advocating policy positions, and providing technical analysis for reallocation studies. Travel <10% and strong leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline required.
• Knowledge of ITU/NTIA/FCC spectrum management processes.
• Experience with spectrum policy and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate national and international spectrum policy activities to determine impacts to the customer.
• Support development and implementation of spectrum plans, strategies, and policies.
• Advocate for policy positions to protect the customer’s use of spectrum.
• Provide technical analysis to support spectrum reallocation studies.
• Coordinate with program offices, federal spectrum agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers in spectrum management and engineering.
