Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Antenna Systems Engineer (Engineering Specialist or Senior Engineering Specialist). This on-site role requires 8+ years in Antenna/RF design, an active TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency with ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, Feko, CST, and GRASP.
Lead projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with DoD/IC customers to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- 8+ years of Antenna/RF system design, analysis and testing.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Proficiency with RF analysis tools and measurement in an anechoic chamber.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Join the Antenna Systems Department as an experienced staff member leading project teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise in RF systems, antennas, receive and transmit chains.
- Solve technical problems in communications, signals collection, and remote sensing.
- Engage customers with impactful solutions to hard problems.
- Foster innovation and ensure success of current programs and future missions.
- Support DoD and Intelligence Community customers strategically.
