Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior RF Spectrum Engineer to support spectrum management across DoD, IC, and civil clients. The role emphasizes interference analysis, regulatory coordination, and technical leadership in spectrum engineering.

Positions are on-site at multiple U.S. facilities (El Segundo, CA; Chantilly, VA; Colorado Springs, CO) with travel under 10% and a path to TS/SCI clearance. A bachelor's in EE or related STEM field and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Knowledge of ITU/NTIA/FCC spectrum management processes.
  • Knowledge of RF communications systems and architectures.
  • Project development experience and ability to lead small teams of engineers.
  • Ability to present results effectively in briefings and technical reports.
  • Some travel anticipated (less than 10%).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

  • Perform RF interference analysis and modeling to evaluate spectrum sharing strategies.
  • Guide program design decisions to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support programs through spectrum registration and coordination processes.
  • Coordinate with program offices, federal spectrum agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers in spectrum management and engineering.
