Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Senior RF Phased Array Engineer I based in Long Beach, CA. You will lead RF product development, model antenna performance, and collaborate with diverse engineers to deliver space-grade RF systems. This role emphasizes end-to-end design and production readiness for phased array work.

You will interface with customers and vendors, drive test plans, and help document product specifications. Base salary reflects CA market and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or RF communications.
• Fundamental RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Solid understanding of RF communications and navigation systems.
• Experience modeling antenna/ phased array performance.
• Knowledge of interference effects on RF systems.
• Experience delivering RF systems from concept to space-worthy products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RF product development aligned with system needs.
• Model and simulate array performance.
• Lead an interdisciplinary RF/digital/power/thermal team.
• Transition from new product intro to production.
• Interface with vendors and customers on requirements.
• Create test plans for active antennas including EIRP/G/T.
• Design GSE and production automation.
• Produce ICDs and user manuals.
