Job summary

Parallel Wireless is seeking a Senior RF Optimization Engineer to join our LATAM team, based in Brazil or Colombia. You will lead RF planning, optimization, and performance improvement across GSM, LTE, and 5G networks, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver strong technical outcomes.

You will analyze KPIs, support RAN modernization, troubleshoot with drive-test data, and present findings to stakeholders. Travel 40-50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of wireless telecom and radio network experience.
• Strong experience in GSM/LTE/5G network optimization and VoLTE.
• Proven multi-vendor RAN project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF planning, optimization, and performance improvement across GSM, LTE, and 5G networks in LATAM.
• Own analysis and improvement of network KPIs including accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, and capacity utilization.
• Support RAN modernization, swap, and transformation projects across planning, integration, optimization, and acceptance phases.
• Conduct troubleshooting using drive test data, signaling analysis, and network statistics to identify root causes.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to align priorities, communicate risks, and ensure strong delivery outcomes.
• Present technical findings, recommendations, and progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical leadership and engineering best practices as the organization scales.
