Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Senior RF Planning & Optimization Engineer to support large LTE and 5G programs in a global telecom environment. You will lead RF planning, optimization, and performance engineering initiatives across multi-vendor networks, driving coverage, capacity, and mobility improvements.

You will mentor teams, analyze KPI trends, and guide deployment and modernization projects across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF planning and optimization activities for LTE and 5G networks.
• Develop network design strategies to improve coverage, capacity, and QoS.
• Analyze radio network KPIs to identify optimization opportunities.
• Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for current and future demands.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for RF issues.
• Optimize mobility management, handovers, throughput, accessibility, and retainability.
• Support network rollout, modernization, and technology evolution projects.
• Analyze drive-test data and field performance measurements.
• Utilize planning tools to improve network performance.
• Collaborate with vendor and engineering teams to implement recommendations.
• Produce technical reports and improvement plans.
