Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Senior RF Planning & Optimization Engineer to lead and optimize large-scale LTE/5G deployments. You will synthesize performance data, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve coverage, capacity and user experience.

Based in the United States, Plano area, you will manage complex projects, coordinate with vendors, and drive KPI improvements across RAN networks in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in RF/RAN engineering, wireless network design, or optimization.
• Strong background in 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale wireless deployments and optimization program.
• Proven experience leading technical activities and coordinating engineering teams on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of RF planning, network design, coverage and capacity optimization.
• Experience evaluating network performance and identifying opportunities to improve coverage, accessibility, retainability, mobility, and overall customer experience.
• Solid understanding of wireless signaling and the ability to troubleshoot issues using network performance and protocol information.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to evaluate the impact of network changes, new carriers, and advanced radio features
• Experience with 5G optimization, including modern radio technologies and multi-vendor environment
• Strong understanding of KPIs, mobility performance, capacity, and network quality
