Job summary

Engtal is seeking a Senior RF/Microwave Design Engineer in Austin, TX to lead the development of next-generation RF/microwave circuits and systems for aerospace, defense, and quantum computing programs.

You will architect, design and validate DROs, LNAs, filters, mixers, and high-frequency assemblies, while coordinating with customers and leading a small engineering team through SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TRRs.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent required; MS preferred.
• 5+ years in RF, microwave and millimeter-wave design and development.
• Experience with RF/microwave circuits, subsystems, systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, build and test RF/microwave solutions for aerospace, space, defense, test, and quantum computing systems.
• Design modules, cards, subsystems, and systems up to 50 GHz and beyond.
• Design DROs, oscillators, LNAs, mixers, PLLs and related RF blocks.
• Interface with customers to translate needs into architecture and specifications.
• Lead testing, debugging, integration, and verification/validation.
• Manage small engineering team and contribute to SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TRRs.
• Develop procedures to ensure compliance with standards and manage project plans and cost.
