Job summary

Rydberg Technologies seeks a dynamic Senior RF Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of advanced RF systems at the intersection of electromagnetics, software-defined architectures, and quantum sensing.

You will shape novel antenna front-ends, signal processing pipelines, and direction-finding capabilities, collaborating with quantum physicists, hardware engineers, and software developers to deliver integrated RF-quantum sensor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced RF engineering or related field.
• Strong background in hardware and software development and implementation.
• Experience in hardware engineering, including design and optimization of antenna systems, front-end electronics, and RF electronics.
• Experience with RF test and measurement equipment and techniques.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• US citizens or green card holders may be given priority due to export controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of RF systems and novel antenna front-end architectures.
• Architect and deliver integrated RF-quantum sensor systems with cross-functional teams.
• Translate research into engineered products and ensure system integration from RF to software.
• Direct RF test, validation, and characterization activities with equipment and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and document design decisions.
