Job summary

Wenzel Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF/Microwave Design Engineer to lead the development of next-generation RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave circuits and systems.

You will architect, design, and test solutions up to 50 GHz, collaborating with aerospace, defense, and quantum computing customers to translate requirements into robust architectures. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in RF/microwave design, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with PCB layouts and EMI/EMC

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE or equivalent; MSEE or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave design experience.
• Experience with RF/microwave circuits, subsystems, and systems.
• Experience with EMI/EMC analysis and IPC standards.
• Experience with PCB layouts using Altium.
• Experience leading small engineering teams and managing projects to schedule and cost.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, and test RF and microwave solutions up to 50 GHz and beyond.
• Develop modules, cards, subsystems, and systems for aerospace, defense, and quantum computing applications.
• Lead or support design reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs) and verification activities.
• Collaborate with customers to capture needs and translate to architecture and specs.
• Document procedures to ensure compliance with standards and manage project plans and cost.
