Job summary

Narda-MITEQ is seeking an experienced RF/Microwave Engineer to lead high-frequency design and system cascade analysis. You will work with an engineering team to develop cutting-edge IMAs and high-frequency components, using CAE tools and hands-on bench testing.

Strong communication and security-clearance readiness are required. The role involves designing and testing microwave circuits, performing simulations, and managing schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Microwave circuit design and simulation experience in at least two, but preferably more, active component areas.
• Practical use and understanding of microwave test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and noise figure meters.
• Proficient in linear CAE, particularly using Keysight ADS. Capability using non-linear CAE.
• Familiarity with device semiconductors, such as GaAs and GaN.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gain Secret Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support production of active and passive microwave circuits and multi-function modules.
• Perform EM and linear simulations of microwave housings, transitions, and passive circuits.
• Perform linear and non-linear circuit simulations of microwave active circuits.
• Perform RF and microwave subassembly system analysis.
• Develop specifications for microwave components and subassemblies.
• Generate test and data reports.
• Design for ease of manufacturing.
• Manage project schedules and labor for engineering developments.
