Job summary

Narda-MITEQ is seeking a Specialist, RF/Microwave Engineer in Hauppauge, NY to design, develop, test and support production of active and passive microwave circuits and multi-function modules. You will perform EM and linear simulations and work with a seasoned engineering team on cutting-edge IMAs and high-frequency components.

Responsibilities include generating test reports, managing project schedules, and communicating with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support production of active and passive microwave circuits and multi-function modules.
• Perform EM and linear simulations of microwave housings, transitions, and passive circuits.
• Perform linear and non-linear circuit simulations of microwave active circuits.
• Perform RF and microwave subassembly system analysis.
• Develop specifications for microwave components and subassemblies.
• Generate test and data reports.
• Design for ease of manufacturing.
• Manage project schedules and labor for engineering developments.
