Job summary

Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY seeks an experienced RF/Microwave Engineer to design, simulate, test and support production of high-frequency assemblies. You will perform EM and linear simulations, develop microwave components, and manage test data across projects with budgeted schedules.

The role emphasizes hands-on bench work, CAE analysis (Keysight ADS preferred), and collaboration with engineering teams while targeting performance and manufacturability. U.S. citizen, security clearance possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2+ years.
• Microwave circuit design and simulation experience in multiple active components.
• Hands-on experience with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers and power meters.
• Proficient in linear CAE, especially Keysight ADS; familiar with GaAs/GaN devices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support production of active and passive microwave circuits and modules.
• Perform EM and linear simulations of housings, transitions, and passive circuits.
• Run linear and non-linear circuit simulations of active microwave circuits.
• Conduct RF/microwave subassembly system analysis and generate data reports.
• Design for ease of manufacturing and manage engineering schedules.
