Job summary
RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior RF/Microwave Antenna Engineer to join the Airborne Radar Electronics Hardware Engineering team onsite. You will design and analyze circulators, radiators, filters and RF/microwave subassemblies for AESA phased array systems, and support verification, testing and integration.
Requirements include a BS in a STEM field, 5+ years in RF/Microwave design, experience with Keysight ADS, MATLAB Simulink, CST or HFSS, and U.S.
Qualifications
- BS in a STEM field; strong RF/Microwave background required.
- Minimum 5 years in RF/Microwave, T/R module or antenna product work.
- Design experience with phased array antennas/AESAs and related components.
- Experience with Keysight ADS or MATLAB Simulink.
- RF modeling tools such as CST or Ansys HFSS.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Develop circulators, radiators, filters and other passive RF/microwave components.
- Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting and testing of modules.
- Deliver clear technical presentations to peers, leadership and customers.
