Job summary

RTX is seeking an engineer to interface with suppliers, engineering, and program leadership to drive cost reductions and improve producibility of RF electronics. The role offers hands-on manufacturing exposure in RF microelectronics such as AESAs, EW, and SATCOMs, in an on-site setting in McKinney, TX.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with 5+ years of engineering experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Materials and process experience with MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in production.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership to develop cost reduction activities, mitigate defects, and promote design choices through statistical analysis.
• Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, EW, SATCOMs).
• Liaise between factory and program to improve producibility of RF electronics components and assemblies.
