RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Senior Principal RF Mechanical Engineer to lead a section of RF mechanics engineers. The role blends hands-on RF hardware design with functional leadership, dedicating ~85% to program support across the full development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will guide technical solutions, manage suppliers, and drive collaboration with systems, structures, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver complex RF products. 100% onsite with relocation possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing design and analysis for RF packaging across the product life cycle.
• Knowledge of GD&T for RF products.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a section of 10-20 RF Electronics engineers.
• Perform performance management and career development discussions.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical growth across the organization.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Partner with department leadership on strategic initiatives and priorities.
• Foster a collaborative and engaging work environment and ensure RTX values are upheld.
• Provide technical leadership on RF hardware development and qualification.
