Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Staff Product Test Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for PCBA and RF/microwave products in a fast-paced production environment. You will lead root cause analysis, debugging of digital logic and embedded systems, and drive transitions from LRIP to steady production.

You will collaborate with design teams to improve DFM/DFT practices, monitor production yields, and deliver robust test solutions while maintaining high reliability and performance standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years in a production environment.
• Experience in design, production and test of microwave hardware.
• Strong PCB-level debugging and embedded systems knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for PCBA and RF/microwave products during production.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues.
• Support hardware/software debugging of digital logic and embedded systems.
• Assist LRIP and transition to steady production.
• Review designs and manufacturing plans to improve processes.
• Collaborate with design to influence DFM and DFT practices.
