Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Product Test Engineer I to join our team in Austin. The role focuses on providing hands-on support for PCBA and RF/microwave products in a fast-paced production environment, driving yield optimization and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and help transition designs from production to full-scale manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for PCBA and RF/microwave products during production.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of PCBA and RF-related production issues.
• Support hardware/software debugging of digital logic, embedded systems, and mixed-signal interfaces.
• Support LRIP and transition to consistent production.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to influence DFM/DFT practices.
• Assist with process improvement to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
• Monitor yields, test margins, and resolution of technical issues impacting production.
• Investigate complex problems involving design and production of complex digital, RF, and baseband hardware.
