Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Principal Digital Production Test Engineer to strengthen our production team. The role focuses on PCBA and RF/microwave product testing, yield optimization, and reliability in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive root-cause analyses, lead design-to-production transitions, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve complex issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 9 years in production environments with hardware testing
• Experience with microwave hardware, PCB debugging, and embedded systems
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for PCBA and RF/microwave products in production
• Lead root cause analyses for yield losses, test failures, and deviations
• Support hardware/software debugging of digital logic and embedded systems
• Oversee LRIP and transition to steady production
• Review designs for manufacturability and testability with cross-functional teams
• Drive process improvements to enhance performance and throughput
• Guide production teams with real-time problem-solving in a fast-paced setting
• Monitor yields and test margins to resolve production issues
• Lead containment and corrective action investigations
