Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Product Test Engineer in Austin to support production of PCBA and RF/microwave products. You will troubleshoot yield losses, test failures, and product deviations while working with hardware/software teams to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, root-cause investigations, and optimization of design-for-manufacturability with a fast-paced production team.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years supporting a production environment.
• Experience with microwave hardware design, production and test.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for PCBA and RF/microwave products during production.
• Troubleshoot root causes of production issues including yield losses and test failures.
• Support debugging of digital logic, embedded systems, and mixed-signal interfaces.
• Assist LRIP and transition to steady production.
• Collaborate with design teams to influence DFM/DFT practices.
• Monitor yields, test margins and resolve production issues.
