Job summary

Northrop Grumman Rolling Meadows Hardware Engineering Organization (HWE) seeks a qualified RF Hardware Engineering Manager. The role is 80% technical and 20% managerial, leading about 110 engineers and staff, supporting RF products across multiple programs in the EWS OU and Space sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline with significant experience
• 3+ years in a management role leading cross-functional teams
• Experience as a technical lead for product development
• CAM experience in defense or equivalent PM/PMO duties under cost and schedule constraints
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a management and technical staff (~110) across RF programs
• Oversee staffing, budget, mentoring, and career development
• Ensure program performance within scope, budget, and schedule
• Coordinate design data transfer across organizations and data systems
• Plan future technology roadmaps and business capture activities
