Northwood Space is seeking a Senior RF Hardware Engineer to lead RF electronics design for the next-generation ground network hardware. You will collaborate across electrical, RF, mechanical, and software teams to deliver reliable, high-performance modules from concept to production.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering and 5+ years of RF design experience; ITAR considerations, clearance readiness, and willingness to work extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of RF design experience across circuits, filters, or antennas.

Responsibilities

• Design RF electronics hardware for next generation products and iterate to improve reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
• Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (amplifiers, filters, PCB layout) to design and evaluate performance.
• Build RF circuits (LNA's, filters, power amplifiers) and support circuitry, and characterize their performance.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to characterize and troubleshoot integrated RF system performance.
