Job summary

E-Space in Arlington, TX is seeking a Senior RF Front-End Design Engineer to drive RF frontend architectures for satellite users terminals. You will translate system requirements into robust RF hardware, from schematic capture to prototype bring-up and production release.

Responsibilities include designing PA/LNA chains, filters, switches, and synthesis stages, plus validating performance with VNAs and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on RF or microwave hardware design experience.
• Experience designing RF front-end hardware from requirements through production release.
• Strong understanding of RF front-end architectures, matching, gain, noise figure, linearity, stability, dynamic range, and filtering.
• Hands-on experience with RF circuit simulation tools such as Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR.
• Experience with schematic capture, RF PCB layout review, prototype bring-up, debugging, and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Own RF front-end designs from system requirements through release.
• Develop transmit/receive chains with PA/LNA, filters, duplexers, mixers, synthesizers.
• Translate link-budget requirements into RF specifications (power, gain, noise figure).
• Perform cascaded RF analyses (P1dB, IP3, EVM, dynamic range).
• Design device-level RF circuits and impedance-matching networks.
• Select components for performance, power, size, cost, reliability.
• Simulate RF circuits using ADS or AWR; review RF PCB stackups and routing.
• Develop architectures for TDD/FDD or simultaneous TX/RX if needed.
• Plan RF measurements with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
• Integrate RF front end with antenna, modem, baseband, firmware, power, enclosure.
• Document analyses, test procedures, results, and risks.
• Mentor engineers and establish repeatable RF design practices.
