Job summary

E-Space, Arlington, TX, is hiring a senior RF engineer to own RF front-end design from requirements through production. You will develop receive/transmit chains, optimize performance, and ensure reliable, manufacturable hardware for space-based IoT systems.

Required is a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 7+ years of RF/microwave experience, with hands-on design, simulation tools (ADS/AWR), and PCB layout skills, plus strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on RF or microwave hardware design experience.
• Experience designing RF front-end hardware from requirements through production release.
• Strong understanding of transmit/receive architectures and RF parameters.
• Hands-on experience with RF circuit simulation tools such as Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR.
• Experience with schematic capture, RF PCB layout review, prototype bring-up, debugging.
• Experience with RF components: PAs, LNAs, filters, switches, mixers, synthesizers, transceivers.

Responsibilities

• Own RF front-end designs from requirements through production release.
• Develop transmit and receive chains using RF components.
• Translate link-budget requirements into RF specs (power, noise, gain).
• Perform cascaded RF analyses (P1dB, IP3, EVM, margin).
• Design device-level RF circuits and impedance networks.
• Simulate RF circuits using Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR.
• Plan RF measurements with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
• Mentor engineers and technicians on RF design practices.
