Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to build active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs) for radar applications across multiple frequency bands—from architecture to hardware bring-up and initial production. You will influence antenna element design, RF front-end electronics, array integration, and the test infrastructure.

In this role you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, lead RF characterization, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in RF electronics, phased arrays or radar.
• Experience leading active phased arrays from concept to production in defense or aerospace.
• Deep understanding of RF systems design, parts, and test planning for RF systems.
• Proven leadership in technical initiatives and problem solving with attention to detail.
• Strong PCB design knowledge with Altium.
• RF design tools HFSS/ADS or equivalent.
• RF measurement equipment expertise (network analyzers, signal analyzers, near-field scanners).
• Programming in Python or C++ for design and automation.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the RF design of AESA subsystems including T/R modules and beamforming networks.
• Collaborate across antenna, digital, mechanical, and systems teams.
• Lead RF characterization and troubleshoot issues to closure.
• Mentor junior RF engineers on phased array fundamentals, measurement techniques, and test discipline.
