Job summary

Anduril Industries in Colorado is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to design, test, and deploy next‑gen radar systems. You will own RF hardware development, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust phased arrays for defense programs.

The role requires 7+ years in RF design, active security clearance eligibility, and hands‑on experience with HFSS/ADS, Altium, and measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in RF design, phased arrays, antennas or related radar electronics.
• Proficiency with RF design/analysis tools such as HFSS or ADS.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment (network/signal analyzers, near-field scanners).
• Strong PCB design knowledge (schematic capture, layout) with Altium experience.
• Able to lead initiatives and work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of advanced phased arrays and RF electronics for military radar systems.
• Lead testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to meet performance requirements across environments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure quality across deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define radar architectures and system requirements.
• Conduct RF simulations, trade studies, and prototyping to drive innovation.
• Drive technical decision-making and contribute to programmatic strategy.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to maintain technical edge.
• Support production ramp-up including DFM/DFT and supplier engagement.
