Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr Advanced RF Engineer to design, implement, and manage RF systems for aerospace applications. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams and mentoring engineers, with a hybrid work schedule and 100% onsite first 90 days.

You will work on RF interfaces, circuits, antennas, and RF test equipment, ensuring compliance with performance and regulatory standards while driving programs on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 6 years of RF engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the RFIO interface layer between digital (FPGA/software) and RF subsystems.
• Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits, subsystems, and antenna systems for aerospace applications.
• Perform RF system analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into avionics and electronic systems
• Experience with FPGA or embedded software interfacing to RF hardware
• Strong debugging and integration skills across hardware and software domain
• Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
