Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. seeks a visionary Senior Application Engineer / Solutions Architect to shape the user experience for our 3DHI and RF design platform.

You will translate engineer workflows into API and design guidance, working closely with product and R&D teams to implement end‑to‑end reference flows. You will validate programmatic workflows, create reference designs, and collaborate with system architects to define automation and verification capabilities for next‑gen EDA software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Actively meet and engage with user engineering teams to study their day‑to‑day design flows, identify bottlenecks in 3DHI and RF packaging, and translate feedback into platform design guidance and requirements for software R&D.
• Serve as internal domain authority on RF, mmWave, and advanced packaging workflows, ensuring APIs, data models, and automation reflect engineers’ needs.
• Write Python scripts, API integration tests, and programmatic workflow examples to validate automated layout and schematic operations for domain engineers.
• Define evaluation flows and test cases for emerging 3DHI domains based on user priorities.
• Build and maintain end‑to‑end reference design flows and benchmarks to stress‑test platform capabilities and simulator integrations.
• Work with software architects to advocate for user priorities and validate that releases address customer pain points.
