Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks an Expert-level Electronic Design Engineer to join a distributed team and drive next-generation System Support technologies. You will translate customer requirements into robust measurement solutions spanning circuitry, software, and control logic, with a focus on measurement uncertainty analysis and validated designs.

In this role, you will help estimate effort, design the measurement system, and apply AI/ML techniques where appropriate, while representing the work

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD degree in engineering or equivilent.
• Typically 15 years practical experience designing rf/uW measurement systems.
• 5+ years working with simulation/modeling or comparable digital twin methoods.
• Deep practical and theoretical knowledge of measurements & uncertainties in RF applications.
• Knowledge of measurement products (e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers), software architecture and test strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to develop SW (Visual Studios C#/C++/VB, PERL, JAVA) to support model development and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a distributed development team.
• Solid project management skills in cross-functional, cross-regional environments.
• Excellent written, interpersonal communication and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent teamwork and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into robust solutions including measurement methods, uncertainty analysis, automated switching, and solution validation.
• Help teams estimate effort and design the measurement system from circuitry to software and control logic.
• Identify opportunities for leverage using state-of-the-art AI/ML methods and represent work to end customers as needed.
