Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior RF Design and Test Engineer to join the Electrical Engineering Design team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver RF hardware meeting regulatory requirements, from schematic designs to chamber characterization and compliance sign-off.

The role emphasizes RF/antenna design, validation, and expertise in RF test environments. Up to 10% travel and ability to obtain/maintain clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with military and commercial RF standards and spectrum certification processes.
• Experience with SAR and military RF exposure limits and antenna placement.
• Experience with multi-radio coexistence and desense analysis including UWB.
• Hands-on RF circuit/antenna design and testing experience.
• Knowledge of GPS/GNSS receiver architectures and active antenna bias circuits.
• Proficiency with 3D EM simulation tools for RF/antenna modeling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure RF designs comply with military/commercial standards and support spectrum certification processes.
• Evaluate SAR and RF exposure limits and coordinate testing.
• Assess coexistence and desense between onboard radios and mitigate cross-band interference.
• Bench and chamber test RF hardware and antennas using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Collaborate with EMC and mechanical teams to root‑cause RF-related failures.
• Design RF circuits and antennas, perform link-budget and system RF analysis.
• Design and integrate antennas and arrays, considering mechanical constraints.
• Support GPS/GNSS receiver design and active antenna bias circuits.
• Utilize 3D EM tools for RF/antenna modeling and perform schematic reviews.
