Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned RF engineer to design complete RF receiver and transmitter chains, optimize up/down-conversion, and manage board bring-up through production. You will select high-speed converters, develop clocking strategies, and perform rigorous spur analyses to ensure robust performance. The role requires a B.S.

in EE (or equivalent) and 7+ years in RF design, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years experience
• Experience designing complete RF receiver and/or transmitter signal chains using common architectures
• Experience with off the shelf discrete RF components (LNAs, filters, mixers, PLLs/synthesizers, oscillators)
• Experience with high-speed data converters (ADC/DAC)
• Experience with synthesizer and LO design including PLL loop filter optimization
• Experience with schematic capture, board bring up, test, and optimization
• Experience with circuit modeling and simulation tools like Ansys Electronics Desktop and Cadence AWR Microwave Office
• Proficient with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes)
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design RF receivers and transmitters from requirements through production
• Architect RF up/down-conversion signal chains optimizing noise and distortion
• Modeling, simulation, analysis, design, test, and optimization of RF/mixed signal circuits
• Select and integrate high-speed ADCs and DACs and related baseband interfaces
• Design and optimize clock trees, oscillators, and LO/synthesizer architectures
• Perform system-level spur analyses and develop mitigation strategies
• Own radio PCBA design and test through lifecycle including DVT and NPI
• Assist with feasibility studies and system integration as needed
