Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Radio Frequency Antenna Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA to design, analyze, and optimize RF antenna systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet project specs, leveraging RF hardware design expertise and PCB layout knowledge to advance our EW antenna projects.

The role requires hands-on testing in RF environments, experience with anechoic chambers, and willingness to travel. A U.S. Secret clearance eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of RF and Antenna experience.
• Experience with RF hardware design and RF component design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed RF design for antennas and antenna arrays.
• Perform antenna element trade studies and simulations.
• Optimize array lattice selection for frequency range and bandwidth.
• Design, simulate, and optimize antenna arrays.
• Develop prototypes of elements and arrays to validate models.
• Model PCB RF transitions and feed structures.
• Design passive components like Wilkinson splitters and hybrids.
• Provide layout support and finalize array models for optimization.
