Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced RF engineer to design complete RF chains from concept to production. You will architect up/down-conversion stages, optimize noise performance, and drive PCB bring-up through production, working with RF hardware and software teams.

The role requires 7+ years in RF design, familiarity with LNA/mixer/PLL components, ADC/DAC integration, and access to a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of RF design experience across receiver/transmitter chains.
• Experience with discrete RF components (LNA, filters, mixers, PLLs).
• Experience with high-speed ADC/DAC integration and anti-alias design.
• Knowledge of PLL/LO design, phase noise, spurs management.
• Schematic capture, board bring-up, and optimization experience.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, scopes).
• Experience with RF modeling tools (Ansys, Cadence AWR).
• Ability to obtain and hold U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complete RF radio architectures from requirements to production.
• Architect RF up/down-conversion signal chains, optimize noise/distortion trade-offs.
• Modeling, simulation, analysis, design, test, and optimization of RF circuits.
• Select and integrate high-speed ADCs/DACs and baseband interfaces.
• Design clock trees and LO/synthesizer architectures with focus on phase noise.
• Perform system-level spur analyses and mitigation strategies.
• Own radio PCBA design and test through lifecycle from bring-up to NPI.
• Assist with feasibility studies and system integration as needed.
