Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF design engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will design transmitters, receivers, or exciters and develop RF CCAs for radar and datalink applications. This position requires hands-on lab work, characterization, and integration with interdisciplinary teams.

The role demands a STEM bachelor’s with ~8 years of RF experience and proficiency in Mentor DX Designer, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys, and ADS. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 8+ years RF experience and related skills.
• Experience in RF design, testing, and simulation of RF products.
• Experience with listed RF design tools: Mentor DX Designer, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
