Job summary
Secmation seeks a Senior RF Communications Engineer to design, implement, test, and demonstrate next-generation RF and EW capabilities for national defense. You will work hands-on across SDR, radar, resilient networking, secure communications, and RF sensing technologies while contributing directly to systems from design through integration, testing, and field demonstration.
The role requires 8+ years of RF/ EW experience, DoD clearance, and proficiency with GNU Radio/USRP-UHD, MATLAB, Python,
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant RF/ EW or related experience.
- Hands-on experience with military/defense RF systems.
- Experience with SDR frameworks and platforms such as GNU Radio or USRP/UHD.
- Proficiency with MATLAB or Python for RF modeling/analysis.
- C/C++ experience for embedded or systems-level applications.
- Experience with system integration, HWIL testing, field demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to development across RF technologies supporting national defense missions.
- Design, implement, model, integrate, and test RF systems and EW capabilities.
- Collaborate with RF, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and systems engineers.
- Demonstrate and validate systems through live customer demonstrations.
