Job summary

Secmation in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced RF engineering professional to join a mission-focused team developing next-generation RF communications and Electronic Warfare capabilities for national defense. This role is hands-on across SDR, radar, secure communications, and field demonstrations, contributing from design through integration and HWIL testing.

You will work across Electronic Warfare, SDR, tactical RF, SATCOM, and adaptive signal-processing, using MATLAB, Python, GNU Radio,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in RF systems, communications engineering, SDR, radar, or Electronic Warfare.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, analyzing, or validating RF communications systems.
• Experience with SDR frameworks and platforms such as GNU Radio, REDHAWK, USRP/UHD, or comparable technologies.
• Proficient in MATLAB or Python for RF modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to development of advanced RF technologies from design through field demonstration.
• Work across electronic warfare, software-defined radio, and secure communications systems.
• Participate in HWIL testing, system integration, and customer demonstrations.
• Collaborate with RF, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and systems engineers.
