Job summary

Outer Biosciences is hiring a Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Revenue Analytics, to scale our CRM, define a robust deal process, and create the company’s first revenue forecast. You will partner with business development, R&D, project management, and finance in a senior IC role that supports growth across pharma, biotech, and beauty partnerships.

The role requires hands-on experience building sales or revenue operations from the ground up, plus Salesforce administration and advanced modeling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, science, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial operations, preferably in CRO/science tools/beauty sectors.
• Hands-on builder of sales/revenue ops including CRM, forecasting, and reporting.
• Salesforce Administrator certification with experience configuring objects, fields, flows, and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Scale CRM platforms with pipelines, workflows, integrations, and dashboards.
• Document sales and revenue playbook including deal stages and scoping/contracting processes.
• Build and maintain bookings and revenue forecast aligned with study milestones and capacity.
• Develop pricing/quoting tools and track margins by study and customer.
• Target pharma/biotech/beauty segments and build target-account lists.
• Produce monthly commercial reporting and revenue metrics for leadership.
• Support live opportunities with research, proposals, pricing, and contract terms.
• Establish operating rhythm and onboarding/compensation plans for future hires.
