Job summary

Latham & Watkins in New York seeks a Senior Coordinator – Revenue Operations to manage the revenue lifecycle for a group of matters, ensuring compliance and timely billing, while advising on write-offs and inventory management.

You will partner with billing attorneys and support staff in a hybrid, in‑office role, focusing on accuracy, reliability, and proactive risk mitigation as part of the Practice Office Revenue Operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience; minimum 5 years cumulative professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue lifecycle for a group of billing attorneys or matters, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
• Communicate with billing attorneys and stakeholders about WIP and AR to determine actions and reduce inventory days.
• Ensure processes comply with VAT, legal accounting rules, and anti-money-laundering regulations; mitigate risk.
• Mentor Revenue Operations team members to deliver high-quality, timely service.
• Promote best practices for matter maintenance, convert WIP to cash, and advise on write-offs with clear business rationale.
• Protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
