Job summary

Perforce is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to lead revenue accounting, ensure accurate recognition under US GAAP, and manage a team of five. You will partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, Legal and Finance to support growth and reporting needs.

You will apply ASC 606 to contracts, oversee commissions accounting, controls, and process improvements across order-to-cash while driving accuracy and timely close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Progressive experience in revenue accounting, preferably in software/SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Experience applying revenue recognition for software, services, and multiple element deliverables.
• Experience with ERP or revenue management systems (NetSuite).
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly revenue close, ensuring accuracy of revenue and related balances.
• Apply ASC 606 to standard and complex contracts and document key judgments.
• Oversee accounting for sales commissions and related deferred balances.
• Own internal controls over revenue and commissions; support audits.
• Oversee revenue accounting system and optimize order-to-cash processes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Ops, Sales, Legal and Finance on contract terms and new models.
• Analyze revenue metrics and assist budgeting/forecasting.
• Manage and develop a team of five.
