Job summary

Perforce is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to lead the revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP. You will set policy, manage a team of accountants, and partner with Revenue Ops, Sales, Legal, and Finance to support growth and reporting needs.

You will drive the monthly close, apply ASC 606, oversee commissions accounting, and own internal controls. This role partners with multiple teams, drives process improvements, and provides insightful reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Progressive experience in revenue accounting, ideally in a software/SaaS company.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition for software, services, and multiple-element deliverables.
• Experience with ERP or revenue management systems (NetSuite).
• Demonstrated people leadership and coaching experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly revenue close and ensure revenue and related balances are accurate.
• Apply ASC 606 to standard and complex contracts and document key judgments.
• Oversee accounting for sales commissions, including CAC capitalization and amortization under ASC 340.
• Own internal controls over revenue and commissions and support external audits.
• Partner with Controller to oversee revenue accounting system and optimize order-to-cash processes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Legal, and Finance on contract terms and new business models.
• Analyze and report key revenue metrics; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five.
