Zusammenfassung

Clearwater Analytics, LLC is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own the accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition. You will lead a team of revenue accountants and collaborate with Sales Operations, Legal, Billing and FP&A in a growing SaaS environment.

The role demands hands-on technical accounting, strong ASC 606 expertise, and leadership skills to coach a high-performing team. CPA or advanced degree required, with 7+ years in accounting and 2+ years in people management.

Qualifikationen

• CPA or post graduate degree in Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Deep hands-on ASC 606 experience in software/subscription businesses.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience supporting external audits and SOX controls.
• Proficiency with ERP and revenue systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain accounting to non-accountants.

Aufgaben

• Lead revenue accounting function including monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to revenue and related items (ARR, ACV).
• Apply ASC 606 to complex contracts and multi-element arrangements.
• Review revenue recognition memos and accounting positions for non-standard deals.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk on contract terms and accounting impact.
• Reconcile revenue, billing, and cash; ensure accurate GL reporting.
• Prepare revenue schedules, footnotes, and flux analyses for management and external reporting.
• Support external audits and SOX controls; drive revenue-related controls.
