Segrera Associates in the Miami area is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant. The role will own revenue accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and key components of the monthly close process.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency to support precise financial close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities.
• Revenue accounting experience preferred with solid financial reporting background.
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and issue resolution.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules for accurate financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet and revenue account reconciliations, researching discrepancies and resolving items.
• Review revenue activity to ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Manage key components of the month-end close process, including reconciliations and reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Review others' work and identify process improvements and internal controls.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and other accounting projects as needed.
